Recovery Takes Work

Hey L,

If you've been following along this month we've been talking a lot about recovery and what it really looks like for someone. That one's success is not dependent on willpower or determination but hinges upon a person's readiness to engage in a journey that is both gradual and demanding in nature.

Last week we said... recovery takes time.

But why?

Because recovery requires 1) a new way of thinking, one that accepts life on life's terms, and 2) adopting a new set of skills.

All of which requires some deep individual work.

And that is the subject of this week's post from author and contributor Steven Luff.

So check it out here and let us know what you think in the comments.
