Hey L,
May is one of my favorite months of the year.
Maybe it 's because of the warmer weather, my daughter's birthday, my birthday, or because we get to celebrate some of those who have made a lasting impact on our lives... our moms.
However, the truth is that while Mother's Day is a time for celebration and fond memories for many, for some it may evoke painful reminders of the past or even the present... what you might refer to as "mommy issues."
And so this month we want not only celebrate moms, but we also recognize those who have wounds that need healing because of fractured relationships with their moms.
Wounds that for many have led to unhealthy ways of living and coping, such as porn use and sex addiction.
The challenge of course is working through the painful and difficult process of uncovering those "mommy issues" so you can address them in a healthy way.
And that is the subject of this week's post from author and contributor Kim Bagato.
So check it out here and let us know what you think in the comments.
