Exploring the Fight-Flight-Freeze Response

Hey L,

Have you ever wondered why it seems really difficult to make good decisions when experiencing stress and/or anxiety? In other words, in those fearful moments, it is almost as if you lose a degree of rationale control and start making choices that seem right in the moment, but don't align with your values and goals.

Yeah, I've been there. And it's maddening.

But it's also part of our natural design. In fact, if our brain didn't work that way our prospects for survival wouldn't look so good.

However, this does not mean that we can't harness these natural processes. It just means we have to be aware of them and learn how to regulate ourselves in those moments when we feel threatened.

And that is the topic of this week's post. So check it out and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
