Hey L,
I like to walk to gym each day. It's an easy way to get in some cardio while doubling down on my time listening to my favorite podcasts. I've been doing this for some time and its something I enjoy... unless I run across a large barking dog with no leash!?
Thankfully, this doesn't happen too often but when it does, the same thoughts rush into my head.
Do I run, freeze, or show aggression hoping to scare it away?
And while this fight or flight mindset makes perfect sense when facing down a large growling animal; it's not the best way to approach our social interactions or the sexualized culture we are immersed in each and every day.
That is the subject of this week's post.
I encourage you to check it out because the reality is this... while we always can fight, run, or hide from our fears - we can also rise to engage them in a meaningful way.
