Fear and Isolation

Hey L, It's October (in case you don't have a calendar), and this month we are focusing on the subject of "fear." Now, realize when I say "fear," I am not just referring to the type of fear one feels when they are facing mortal danger or realize their fantasy football aspirations may have come to a sudden and tragic end because their quarterback was injured. Rather, I am referring to the subconscious fears many of us experience related to feelings of inadequacy, loneliness, or anxiety—the type of fears that often drive some to seek out porn and sex as an escape mechanism for their pain. And so this week, we are examining fear and how it relates to isolation and the need for social connectedness. So check out this week's post and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
