5 Lessons from Shameless

Hey L, Have you ever had one of those times in your life when you suspected something to be true, and then when you found out it was you had a mix of emotions? On one hand you felt validation because your suspicions proved to be accurate. On the other hand, you were bummed that what you suspected turned out to be true. Well, that's what this past weekend's Shameless event did for me. Because while it felt great serving so many people who wanted to talk about sex, porn, and masturbation without shame and judgement; it was also disconcerting that our culture (and churches) have done such a bad job welcoming these discussions.
