Our modern world is obsessed with sex.
Just flip through your TV channels, scroll through your social media feeds, or read an online article on a popular news site and it will only takes few minutes (or less) to be presented with a visual reminder that our society eats up sex and sexualized content.
There's no getting away from this reality.
Which is why it's refreshing when we can find safe places where we can enjoy a small reprieve from the sexual onslaught.
For instance…
- Our homes
- Our online communities like Live Free and Live Free Wives
- And our churches
But the reality is that in today's modern church, while the forms of sexualization may be less obvious, they still are very much present.
That is the subject of this week's post.
Take a few minutes to read it because while our sexuality is nothing to be ashamed of or suppressed, we also can't pretend that it's not a part of church culture that needs to be acknowledged.
