If you don’t know your worth, you’ll settle

I am excited to bring you episode 7 of eXXXamine – Real & Raw Conversations About Porn & Purity.

In this episode, I interviewed Sayeh Becker.

Sayeh is a young woman who was in the adult film industry for just two weeks. She experienced much darkness in her short time in the industry and ended up in a mental institution where she began reading the Bible and found Jesus.

Sayeh moved to California in 2015 for school. She met a guy, and "things began to move very quickly," she stated.

"I found out he was a recovering alcoholic, a drug addict, and schizophrenic," she added. Her relationship took a turn for the worse as her boyfriend began abusing her.

Sayeh was at an all-time low, questioning her identity. Abusers will often use brainwashing to destroy a person's old identity and replace it with a new one, one that matches their beliefs, values, and ideas.

Sayeh stated, "I was so low mentally, I was depressed, and I hated myself."

If you don't know your worth, you'll settle.

If you don't know who you are, you'll look for somebody else to guide you, and this is what happened to Sayeh.
