Over the past decade of ministry I've come to realize we serve a vast audience with very different needs, wants, and goals. In fact, I'd say our "audience" falls into 1 of 4 buckets.
Bucket 1: I don't need or want help.
Bucket 2: I want help, but I don't want to do the work.
Bucket 3: I need help, and I'm ready to do what's needed to get it.
Bucket 4: I want help and will do the work, but I need some help getting started.
And the truth is this. Each type of person needs a different approach, and we can't help them all. Consequently, we focus 99% of our efforts on those that fall into Buckets 3 & 4, because those are the folks that we can have the most profound impact on.
