Our year-end fundraising campaign has come to a close, and we wanted to give you a straight-up, honest update.
We set a goal of $75,000.
We raised $11,725.
Did we hit our target? No, not even close.
Does that mean we are stopping? Absolutely not.
Because here's the thing—Live Free and XXXchurch don't exist without our digital environment.
For an online ministry, our website IS our CHURCH. It's the place where people looking for help first step inside. It's both the sanctuary where conversations happen and the small group meeting room where people connect and find community.
And, it's also the resource center where people find the tools to fight their battles.
No website, no ministry. It's that simple.
We only have two fundraising campaigns for this ministry each year. What we raise in those two campaigns must fund our resources and operations, or the truth is, we can't continue for long.
What does this mean moving forward?
Well, since we didn't reach our full funding goal, we're breaking this project into phases. We're currently focused on Phases 1 & 2 requiring $15K total to complete.
This includes:
- Site design
- Video production
- Some back-end development groundwork that helps bring everything to life
Why does this matter more than ever?
